Control over heating systems are one way of improving efficiency, one of the most effective ways to do this is to install multi-zone systems.  By having multiple zones you can set the different areas of the property  to different temperatures and programming times so you don’t just have the whole property heating up at the same time to the same temperature.  Another straightforward way to improving efficiency is the fitting of Thermostatic Radiator Valves or TRV’s for short.  Whilst these don’t directly turn the heat source (boiler of heat pump) on or off they do help regulate the temperature of the room they are in so it is important to have working TRV’s and set to the temperature you want.

Good maintenance and servicing of a heating system is crucial.  Nearly all boiler manufacturers require that a boiler is serviced during its warranty period and if it isn’t then the warranty becomes void.  Having a good system health is crucial to having an efficient system.
